Everyone HAS THE RIGHT TO NOT engage someone with a knife....

... but to stand and film is a sign of the times.

So what does that mean for me and maybe for you?

It means that I cannot expect anyone to help me even when this happens in 'broad daylight' and with an inordinate amount of passers by.
Ensuring I/We train like nobody is coming to help will ensure you stay in the fight and focussed on winning.

Ensuring I/We DO NOT lose momentum or focus because our higher brain is on the sideline screaming 'Why isn't someone helping me? or 'Someone will help soon?'

Ensuring I/We train from positions of disadvantage up to and including being stabbed/slashed or struck. This is reality!

Ensuring I/We maintain the continual development not only in our techniques but in our learned responses during stress drills, where in a lot of cases it is about survival (this may include being injured but remaining alive).

So, would I stand by and film?

F**K NO!!!!

Would I step in and do something?

I'd like to think so but each incident has its own risks to calculate and each one of us operates differently, and that's why I would never bullshit anyone saying I know exactly what I'd do,  'Infinite Variables' right?

Do your best for you and those around you and that's all that can be asked. Just because your trained doesn't immediately hold the expectation that you are there to save the day.

Of course do everything within your power to help but fight smart and pick your battles wisely.
The more you train honestly the more you realise this.......

I hope?

Read this and ask yourself the same questions...
